My daughter and I went to buy propane at 10pm on a cold January night (Our heater requires propane). There was 2 attendants working at that time. My 15 year old daughter went inside to ask to fill or exchange our tank, the man politely confirmed that they have propane available and asked my daughter to wait a minute as he walked outside to the woman that also worked there and happened to be smoking a cigarette about 2 feet away from the door to enter/exit the store. The woman attendant refused us service, her response to her coworker and my daughter was they have propane but it was too late. Neither my daughter or I pleaded with her or mentioned that we needed it for warmth over night, honestly I was shocked at her refusal, I was annoyed at what I saw at the moment as solely something she couldn’t be bothered to do. Had she said she was on a break I would have understood and waited for her to be on her shift or returned in 15 minutes to get the propane I needed. I saw no reason a polite 15 year old girl should have been refused service, especially for something that is essential to some people for cooking or warmth etc. I have read some reviews that lead me to believe this attendant commonly treats customers in this manner, perhaps she is better suited for a position where she does not interact with customers. I will not be returning to this station, certainly not at night and not if I see the attendant who didn’t feel like filling a small propane tank.
