My fiancé and I visited the desert door for the first time yesterday driving to our cabin on vacation, and immediately returned today because of our incredible experience!! Everyone that we encountered was just so friendly. Yesterday we tried the Sotol flight (incredible), and today we attempted to work our way down the menu. The biggest shout outs to Lexi at the cargo, Kelsey (our OG server and then at the bar), Erin (our server tonight), and everyone else helping out with the busy Saturday night rush including Erin, Nicole, Sam, Holly, and Hayley! We absolutely will be back the next time we’re around Wimberly.

A gorgeous location with delightfully varied and tasty cocktails! We will be back! If you tried and hated their sotol a few years ago, try it again, they have improved drastically!

Great environment with really modern touches. It feels a world away from the business of downtown Austin. Cocktails come well presented. They taste even better. Who knew you could use sotol as both a whiskey base or tequila base liquor. My wife got the Yipping Coyote and I got the Howler Sour. We enjoyed the light and fruity Yipping Coyote!

Hannah our server was excellent. Very attentive and perfect on our cocktail orders. Erin the bartender perfectly executed our cocktails. Must visit and must see. You definitely feel welcomed and like family. Can't wait to drop by and visit again. FYI the gift shop has some great swag and limited edition bottles for purchase.
