Clean area with plenty of shaded tables. There is also an area to walk you dogs and stretch your legs out.

Decent restrooms, covered picnic tables, space for walking dogs Didn'tnotice any vending machines but I wasn't looking for them. There aren't many rest stops open currently between Arizona and here so bonus point for this one. You can see the ancient lava flow all around here, too, which is pretty cool, if you're into that at all.

OCTOBER 15TH, Could you explain why they are still in need of repair, sinks have not been in use for at least 1 year. The hand drier are not working. This rest is over used because the 1 east ledlow has been closed for 6 months plus.
