This is one of our favorite places to take the kids. It’s always clean and the kids enjoy the playground. It’s also great for walking as the path goes around the entire park and has about half of the pathways shaded by trees. The only downside is it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. Also, lately there’s been more issues with people in the parking lot smoking weed and blaring uncensored rap. If it wasn’t a place specifically for the kids I couldn’t care less about the weed and music, but just not the right place or time for all of that. Outside of the very few issues described, the park is great and the playground is well kept. It’s our go-to playground and walking area.

I hadn't been here in years, but it is still a very good place to go spend some time with your kiddos and interact with the community. My boys and I were there playing some basketball. The nets on the goals could use a little TLC, but other than that from what I saw the place is amazing.

This park has just about everything! A nice modern playground for kids of all ages and it's shaded in spots. It has a sand volleyball court, multiple basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, horseshoe pits, a pavilion that you can rent for $50, beautiful paved walking trails and an awesome splash pad that is open during the summer. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Plenty of convenient parking.

My grandson plays at the Forney community baseball complex a few times a year. Every visit has been very pleasant. The maintenance crew of this place needs high marks, always clean and well kept. Thanks to the city for the foresight to build such a nice place.
