We love our local independent bookstore, Books are Awesome. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, offering suggestions and generally making the place feel welcoming. They keep track of family purchases and give a $20 credit for each $200 you spend. Their kids section is fun and engaging for our 3 and 5 year old, and the young adult section has great stuff for our teenager. For being a small, independent store they have wonderful selection and are willing to order items on request. And they have free cookies! This spot is a can't miss for book aficionados in Parker.

I can't say enough things about this local bookstore! The selection is great, especially for a small store, and they have preordered numerous books for me with a small discount for preordering. The ladies are always incredibly friendly and helpful, and I love their support of local Colorado authors. Shop here whenever you can!
