This college-oriented apartment complex is woefully mismanaged. Staff are unfriendly, unavailable, and quite unhelpful. Repair requests go unanswered. Pool is permanently closed. As a parent of a student who has lived here I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Would not recommend. It’s too bad because it’s in a good location and has a lot of potential.

DO NOT EVER RENT HERE! My roommate and I were scammed $5000, they make you prepay a deposit of two months per person, which equals to $2500 and they never gave it back. I left Lark back in December and more than 3 months later I still haven't received the money. They won’t pick up the phone when we've tried calling a thousand times, they won’t respond to emails, they blocked us when we tried reaching through Instagram. Also this is not the first time Ive heard about this happening, as the same thing happened to a friend that stayed there 2 years ago and she never got the money back either. All the reviews you can read here are true, they come to make an inspection once a month, even once they came in when I was literally sleeping because it was super necessary for them to make that inspection right that second. They also make you pay an absurd amount for inspection fee when you move out. This place is literally a scam. Ridiculous place and ridiculous management, DO NOT EVER STAY HERE.

I've been here for 2 years and I've enjoyed it for the most part. The apartments themselves are very nice and the maintenance crew is fairly quick responding to work orders. I will say though that the flies in the lobby are quite annoying. The events they hold are pretty cool and they seem to try to really interact with their residents.

I would never in a million years recommend lark. This place was stricter than my freshman year dorm, and management is constantly breathing down residents' necks. There are inspections what seems like every 3 weeks and management takes photos of your belongings which is a complete invasion of privacy. The manager, Amanda is horrible and unwilling to respond to resident emails -- when she charged me $250 after an inspection AND took photos of my room, she was 'supposedly' out of the office for 3 days. She is so incredibly rude and every positive review about her and this complex is fake and they don't even try to hide it. Every single person that has interacted with Amanda that I know (20+) had horrible experiences with her **specifically**. This apartment complex is the bane of my existence.
