Absolutely positively unabashedly the worst customer service I have ever received! I try so hard to shop locally, as well as close to home to support local schools etcetera via taxes. I guess their thinking is that lawn care is a necessity to a degree, giving him a guaranteed business. But I would much rather shop anywhere else and at any prices than shopping here again. This location offers a lot of grass parking. If there is handicap parking, I did not see it. The entrance only had one door open from the front, you would have to come around from the side/exit if you need an accessible entrance. There are lines everywhere and if you've never been there it's really confusing how to shop. There was a line to the door when you first walked in which everone got in, but it was for bulk item purchasing and as people realized that's not the line they are there for they get out of that line to actually shop around. It's very difficult to find an employee to ask any questions that you might have. The lines for checkout are extremely long. They have a very old fashioned POS and also do not take American Express. Not sure what others they don't being, bring multiple options. They apparently just began a rewards program which they are asking everyone to sign up for. They ask you a ton of information which takes a lot of time. Although I understand how a rewards system benefits a business, something this time consuming is a ridiculous expectation when the lines are as long as they were.

Easy to get to and I was able to park right next to what I needed. I had called to check for sod and the employee was more than helpful and went out of their way. They had what I needed and the price was reasonable. When I arrived I was helped right away and they were attentive to ask how to load the trailer (over the axel or towards the front). In and out fast and the job got done. I am very impressed, they are are a well oiled machine with good service.

I've been coming to The Grass Pad on Barry Road ever since I moved into a house with my own lawn. Their products are reasonably priced, work well, and the help at the store is top notch. When I was new to all of this, the guys here were extremely helpful in giving me instruction for every question I had. If you need some help with your yard, or already know what you're doing and need some product to put it in, come on down to this Grass Pad. I'm officially high on grass now.

Hi Kelly, we do sell a few hardy varieties of crepe myrtle during their growing season. Unfortunately there are not as many cold hardy varieties as you would find in the South. Crepe Myrtle start arriving in our nursery in mid to late May. Thanks for asking!

Hi Scott, you would need to look further south for bermuda sod. We grow only cool season grasses in our sod fields. Heat Wave turf-type tall fescue and Blue Wave bluegrass sod would be available. The only warm season grass would be zoysia and they won't cut zoysia til late April to early May, while it is actively growing. Thanks for thinking about us! -Uncle
