Do you take donated suitcases? I remember a charity taking suitcases for children to out their things in when forced to leave home to go to foster care. I have an extra suitcase and would ehappy to fill it with some necessary items.

Hi Kathleen, We previously accepted gently used suitcases, but we now only distribute new items to the children we serve. We recommend that you consider local domestic violence shelters or agencies focused on serving children in foster placement. For ideas, United Way 2-1-1 is a great resource! Thank you for thinking of the kids!

Hi Lenorelee, At this time we are not accepting gently loved items or suitcases. Please consider calling a local domestic violence shelter or an agency like Cornerstones of Care that serves children in a life transition who may need suitcases. Thank you so much!

A few years back I heard a suggestion that good clean luggage could be donated to foster children’s groups. I’m clearing things out and have a few items, some only used once. Any interest by Love Fund?
