Was nice and convenient to get to Lake. Enjoyed taking a hot shower after swimming all day. Def will be coming back next time we go to eureka.

Older motel, but clean and well kept. The motel changed owners recently and has been improving ever since. The rooms are older styling but are well supplied with a flat screen TV, fridge and microwave, etc. The view from the front building is amazing with a lake right across the road and big old trees in the front yard. You can tell there are things on the fixit list but that is with any older motel, especially one that wasn't taken care of by the previous owner, and this is one of the cleaner small town motels I've ever stayed in.

Because it's the only one available, I've been staying at the Lakeview Motel at least 4 times a year for the past 15 years. Not until the Sharmas sold it to its new owner within the past few years have I found it clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Changes and updates have brought it into the 21st century from the Alfred Hitchcock's Bates Motel motif. And no more sharing the room and shower with critters ! (I never give anything 5 stars.)

My experience was great. The rooms were super clean and well priced. The staff were delightful and very accommodating. The view of the lake was beautiful and the motel's location right across from the beach was an added bonus for entertainment. It being pet friendly was also a plus. It was a pleasure staying here, and I would stay here again.
