I made an appointment with this provider for a tour of the birth center and to meet with the midwife. I wanted to get a feeling of the people and facilities before making any appointments or starting my pregnancy care here. We came for our appointment and felt like a number, shuffled around in the waiting room filling out paperwork. Then, I was made to several tests and answer a million personal health questions. Finally, after 3 hours of waiting, I thought I would meet with the midwife, but we met with an NP who would not be taking any part of our care and she asked me half of the health questions that I already answered. Then We were told that the birthing center was closed and there wasn’t anyone to give us a tour. After I let them know that was the only reason we had been there for 4 hours, an admin begrudgingly took us to see the suites. She made a point to tell us that we could only use the suite for 6 hours and then we would have to leave (exactly what I want to be doing during labor, watching the clock and worrying about how soon I have to leave. What do you do after 6 hours?? Have the baby in your car?? I asked what you have to do after the time is up and I didn’t get a clear response). Additionally, I was made to pay up front and my HRA reimbursed them $300 which I have yet to be refunded. Every time I call them they say that they haven’t received the payment although my insurance company confirmed that it was processed. I was looking for midwifery care for my pre and postnatal care, and based on the advertising I thought this is what was being offered. However, after visiting in person I found it to be typical big business OB care, with a “midwife” and “birthing suites” as the bait and switch. If you want personal, individualized care, look elsewhere.

This office is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Dr. Delgado is so kind and helpful during the process of my pregnancy...as is the rest of the office staff. She really takes her time to help you understand everything. I would not choose any other physician!
