THIS HOTEL HAD BED BUGS! while my boyfriend and I were sleep we felt things crawling on us all night. This is definitely something you would not expect at the double tree. we even took pictures to show staff, we showed them the marks on our body and everything. he refused to do anything about it, he is now avoiding calls.

This hotel was not originally built as a Hilton property…and it shows. Hilton took it over but they need to invest in it. I have stayed many times in the past. Cleanliness since COVID has really gone down hill. Carpet is pretty gross. They only put 2 bath towels in the room. If you are a larger party this is a problem. Upside pillows are great and the hotel is in a nice location. Overall disappointing for a Hilton property though.

What an absolute joke if you come here for brunch. I tried to make a reservation on Mother's Day but was told they wouldn't take my reservation because I wouldn't need one for 2 people. Get here and there is no availability at all. The last time I tried the brunch, they didn't know what they were doing and had no room for people, the food was cold/undercooked and it was held in the lobby of the hotel. Horrible service, horrible experience. I'll make sure I tell all of my friends and family to avoid this place. And I for one will never be returning. Save your time and go somewhere else, people.

Upon arrival things were great. We got to our room and noticed there was a lot of garbage in the halls - was sure housekeeping probably needed to just make their rounds. This trash remained in the hall for the rest of our stay and was still there upon check out. The evening of our first stay we turned on the air conditioner, when coming back from dinner we noticed an awful smell in the room and started having a sneezing fit. We assume the musty smell was mold within the air conditioning. We contacted the front and Alexis was wonderful, switched our room and brought our new keys to our room. She was so helpful. Upon switching rooms, we start unpacking and notice garbage, old cups and used tissues throughout the room. We cleaned the room, checked the beds and proceeded goto bed. When checking out this morning - Haven seemed to be less than phased by our experience, proceeded to print my receipt and ask “well what do you want done about it? You want some points?” I told her it was irritating to arrive in an obviously dirty room, and that I would appreciate something being done. Her reply was “well the manager will be here tomorrow. You can call them then.” Horrible customer service upon her part - and stating she couldn’t refund/do anything so id have to “call a manager.” No matter how comfortable the bed, or accommodating one person may be, it tainted our entire stay. Professionalism needs to be across the board, and all employees should be able to handle situations it they are the ones checking out the customers.

There isn't complimentary breakfast. However, their breakfast buffet is well stocked and competitively priced.
Route 24 on the MATBUS will bring you right to the corner of 19th Ave S and 9th St E, about a block away from the hotel which is behind the Blarney Stone Pub.
