Great food, good beer, cool design & friendly staff. Love how they check vaccination status thoroughly. We tried the Boomtown Chavez Ravine Hazy IPA. We tried another brew that the bartender gave us in place of the tarantula beer (because they were out), I forgot the name but it was really good as well and it was an IPA. We tried the Chimchurri Steak plate and the steak was cooked to perfection. Really good 👌🏽. My son got the cheddar burger and drool!!! Amazing! After eating we walked across the street to see the Bob Baker Marionette Show. It was a great dinner and a great show.

Been a few times now and it's always busy. The inside is very dark yet cozy. One side has bar tables and the other has tables for larger parties. First come, first served basis. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious! Drinks are pretty good as well. The bruschetta was also great. I could've eaten 2 plates on my own.

First time here and would definitely be back.. Great food and drink selection. Great social distancing protocol which helps feel more comfortable.

Food was excellent! Fish and chips, southern chopped salad were very good not over oily or done, just perfect! Siracha-Honey wings were exquisite! Drinks were okay. I wasn't clear on the service model when I walked in - there wasn't a lot of communication on how to order, who to talk to etc. It also not the cleanest place but not too bad.

Currently The York is operating as takeout only (1/19/2021), as that is all that is permitted under Los Angeles County Department of Health guidelines. The staff is up to date with best practices from the Health Department regarding COVID-19 operations, and the facility is sanitized regularly with hospital-grade sanitizer. Masks are required for staff and patrons. Hand sanitizer is available for patrons when they order, and we might use a laser to take your temperature if you look like you need that. But if you believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus, we'll catch you after you go get that vaccination. We'd rather not get it, please.
