A couple years ago this family lost the original business in the town of Spink to a fire. They relocated in the city of Elk point. After they getting the business up and running the pandemic hit and they made it work. Great food and great service along with a very friendly staff. Always a treat when we eat here.

This is the place you see in the movies...small town America, wood paneling, staff that knows everyone by name, and incredible 50s diner decorating. If you are in, around, near, or plan to drive by Elk Point, SD, plan to make a pit stop. The Saturday night prime rib is to 👏 die👏 for 👏, and affordable to boot. Oh, and don't leave without one of Charisma's dessert offerings. Spink Family Restaurant is the salt of the earth.

I have been to Spink many times and I have to say the service is some of the best around here. The gals that work there really take care of their customers. I've never had a bad meal here. The Friday/Saturday night special slow roasted New York strip is great. One of the best items on the menu though is and always will be their fried chicken. Definitely can't go wrong with that. Any chance I get to stop in, I take it!
