Review is for campground only. Stayed one night on a west to east HWY 80 crossing. Plenty of weeknight walk ups available but $25 for an electric only site plus $12 park fee is highway robbery. Road roar is real; not a good night’s sleep. Bathhouse is old and buggy. If you can find an alternative, take it.

This was our first time ever camping at Windmill and it was amazing. The grounds are so well taken care of, bathrooms were clean (which right there makes me want to give them 20 stars). Camp host was so friendly, plenty of little lakes to fish in, the beach area is nice and big and we had a blast with our new kayaks. Plenty of playground stuff for little ones to play on and just a neat place to spend a weekend. We will definitely be going back there again!!

Always love coming here to camp! The grounds are well maintained, clean, nice layout, and camp ground hosts are nice. Plenty of shade to choose from and even my dog loves it.

Pricey stay right next to the I80. The traffic noise does not end and is pretty loud. You need to pay the park fee $12 for non Nebraskans plus $15 for overnight in a dry camping spot with a picknick table (=$27) or +$30 (=$42) if you want electric 30A. At night fishermen come with lights on their noisy motor boats to fish the lakes with large nets. The swimming lake is great for children. The property is taken care of nicely and it is clean.
