This campground is so peaceful with large sites and plenty of room. Early September sleeping with windows open and the sound of leaves on the trees made for a perfect night’s sleep. Our second visit here and would come back again.

As soon as we arrived, we saw chipmunks at ease and munching away at their snacks. Our site at Headquarters RV Park in Crane Lake, Minnesota was so quiet and peaceful. It was a nice sized site with full hook ups and lots of trees. There is a small playground in the middle of the campsite amongst the trees for the kiddos. We soon realized the best way to enjoy the area was with either a canoe or a kayak. We asked the owner if she could recommend a company to use for rentals and she mentioned Andersons. The owner was so sweet and helpful too. We would love to camp there again.

Beautiful place, very well kept, peacefu, private and in a perfect location ( 3 miles down to the marina where you can rent a boat or a canoe). There is no Wifi (no surprise ). They charge $5 a pet per day and $3 for a bag of trash- that was definitely a little different than what we have experienced so far at other campgrounds. The owner/ keeper is very nice and friendly, provided us with all the information we needed. There is no light pollution at night so would highly recommend taking a walk outside the campground- never seen more start or the Milky Way like I did there. Overall, can't wait to go back!
