It looks like a nice beach and playground and the lighthouse/observation tower is pretty cool, though I took off a star because the elevator is SO gross and buggy. But it's cool that it's even open and operating, so many things aren't! As someone just passing through, I parked here in the morning to walk along the lake, which was really nice.

I only stayed for an hour or so, but it looks like people were boating, fishing, swimming, talking, or playing at the playground -- all in the middle of Iowa.

This park has one of the most amazing backdrops on Storm Lake. The little people and I enjoyed the playground equipment immensely.

This area is one of the most beautiful places I've been in Iowa. The lake is pretty and fun to search for beach treasures like drift wood and beach glass. The walking track is nice for a jog. We enjoy kayaking, fishing, and walking here. There's a campground, cabins, beaches, and resort. The playground is really nice, large and next to a well maintained beach.
