Went to an open-mic to see what the scene was like! It was free, so that was nice, as that is not the case everywhere. The server was very friendly. But, I think coming in as a female to sit down as a part of the audience, it was kind of scary to just exist in this space. Don't know how to describe it exactly. The audience was maybe 75% male, and all of the stand up comedians for the open mic were men except for one female. Can't say I'm surprised, and there was some diversity, but it would be great to feel a little safer in a space that is supposed to make people laugh!

I haven't tried the food, but the drinks are delicious and the headliners are top notch! I've seen several different shows and as long as you don't end up sitting directly behind a support beam obstructing your view you will not be disappointed!

First time attending a comedy show here. It was really entertaining. And our waiter inside the show was so great. Very attentive and on point with everyone. Will plan on coming back!

A landmark in the comedy world and a super cool building and venue. Reasonably priced drinks and helpful and friendly staff. When in the Twin Cities, and looking for a cool thing to do, add this to your list.

Yes and it's consistently the best open mic night in town.
The Acme website has a full calendar available that lists all of the upcoming shows.
Yes the bar and restaurant are the same as any with no cover but the comedy club itself is ticketed. See the Web site for prices. Monday open mic is free though
Casual dress is the norm. Almost everyone that was there the last time I was there was in jeans.
Yes of course!
It's only Monday nights, looks like you just go to the bar between 6 and 7
You can come down in person and purchase a gift certificate. They never expire and work for any show! The recipient just needs to call and make a reservation ahead of time and can pay with it the night of the show.
