Currently, California's minimum wage is $15 per hour only applies to companies in the golden state with over 25 employees. Smaller California employers will only need to pay $14/hour.
Exempt employees in California must earn a minimum monthly wage of no less than twice California's minimum wage for full-time employment. In 2022, the minimum salary for exempts is: Employers with 1-25 employees, $58,240 per year. Employers with 26 or more employees, $62,400 per year.
