One reason why I didn’t score higher is because the housekeeping staff clearly don’t CLEAN. We checked in for a stay Friday thru Sunday. The resort bungalow of nice, room nice - linen not cleaned properly nor things that could effect someone due to lack of thorough cleaning. Our bedding (sheets & blankets) had hair between the sheets, gross 🤮 yuck 🤢 and that’s just disgusting. Went to front desk and showed the photos and was told they would remove resort fees and offered a bottle of wine. The honest decision would be to comp a night due to this negligence or even offer a night at later time. Though the gesture of a bottle is nice I don’t want to drink to not think of the hair that’s been sleeping with me or my husband ill 😷….. management should be very careful. Cleaning staff should not rush at all. Pisssst!

This review is based on our stay and not the winery tasting room. I was blown away with the set up on each bungalow. You can park directly in front of your bungalow so very convenient. From the moment you walk in, you can feel relaxation. Murphy bed was comfortable, very large bathroom with great lighting, two sinks, tub and separate walk in humongous shower. But what blew me away was the French doors leading to the private patio right in the vineyard. And waking up the next day to hot air balloons in the near distance made for a very picturesque moment to start the day. We ordered room service for breakfast since they don't have a restaurant onsite and unfortunately the breakfast was not that good. Breakfast burrito was more potatoes than anything else and really lacked flavor. The stay definitely made up for breakfast though.

FABULOUS! Exactly what I expected. Premiere location, gorgeous bungalows, and outstanding staff. Christy in registration was amazing 👏. I would recommend Carters Estates to anyone that asks or if they are unsure as to where to stay? This is IT!! Thank you so much for a 5 star stay.

Quiet and dreamy overall property. Rooms very spacious and well furnished. Felt luxurious to walk out into the vineyard just feet away. Beautiful. Can be confusing to book - they might push you to South Coast Plaza rooms.

If you are staying at the resort, there is a non-refundable $100 pet fee per dog per stay to cover deep cleaning costs. Guests must sign a pet waiver at check-in.
Not really, there's nothing for them to do except watch their parents drink wine.
There is not a golf course as part if the estates. There is a golf course twenty minutes away, give or take a few minutes.
