Nice small park with a view of the city. We picked this park to walk our dog Oskar. It had lots of shade, a little grass and restrooms. Didn't have time to play on their frisbee golf course! Cute little park with lots of big trees. Lots of tables and places to bbq. Bathrooms are a bit lacking though

It's A Nice Quiet PARK Not OPEN AT DARK

Great little quiet park has a large area of grass nice playground set to play on as well as a frisbee baskets throughout the park I think maybe 6 different baskets to try and compete in this corse I love this little hideaway park closes at dark time bring water the fountain does not work at least at the time of my visit

Avalon Park is compact. There are cement paths all around the park. Skaters use a large, level amphitheater space with steps on East side of the park. I play the six hole Disc Golf Course regularly.
Most public parts only have electricity if you reserve a spot and pay for a reservation not sure if this park has electric outlets it's an older park
I've never had an incident with park goers. You'll notice there are families just there to enjoy the park.
That's right the park is open to the public on that day but the parking lot my be closed
