Love the Lake. But lock your car up and keep watch of it. Lots of break ins. Also watch out for neighbors cars. Keep lake Shawnee safe!

Beautiful and amazing place for photos during the summer and into fall. I lived by the lake Shawnee for 38 years. We still go there for baseball games, paddle-boating in the summer months, for July 4th fireworks show and of course picture opportunities. Photo Cred: brandyharper.com

The beach area is currently closed for renovation. Be careful with the area you chose. You may want to contact the park ranger when you go to see if they can point you to the right direction
They're 8 to 12 dollars. Depends on if for 2 or 4 people.
Unfortunately, the swim beach will not be open this season
East of the dam, west of the baseball fields. Entrance is off of the 29th street
