Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday at 10am with a co worker. KU had just won a national basketball title the night before and this place was packed. There was a wait. But the food and experience was good. I would definitely eat here again, but hopefully when they aren't this busy...

The food was absolutely delicious! I got a their signature breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Delish!! My friend got a whiskey spiked coffee I tasted and that was strong but also good. I have it 4 stars because the staff was very kind, but never called/text us when or table was ready and they did not check in super often or offer our checks, we had to wave them down to ask. Not a big deal, but it did slow down our time there. I would definitely eat there again ❤️

We got The Rooster, the mushroom leekin goat cheese omelete, and the biscuits & gravy. The food was good, but the service was lackluster. Ambiance was also lacking with the cramped and loud environment.
