Well maintained older property. My husband and I stayed in the small single room. It is just a full size bed, but had everything we needed for an overnight stay and it was clean. Can't beat it for the price. The lock on the door was a little difficult on our room, but I'm sure it's an easy fix. It was our 2nd time there and I'm sure we'll be back again.

Dated but very clean hotel owners was easy to deal with , only issues I had was the mattress protector would make you sweat at night and there was these little water bugs every morning in the bathroom, they didn't bite or anything they was just annoying to see every morning , they was like tiny knats

My husband and I got a room on the end, which was nice not having anyone staying opposite the wall where we sleep. The room looks really nice, lots of pretty wood. It has a kitchenette with a table, two chairs, sink and counter, fridge, one cup coffee maker, and a small microwave. Also, paper towels were provided. I would have loved it even more if they'd provided small sample size bottles of dishwashing liquid. And maybe they will soon! The towels and bedding were all clean and smelled great. The bed was quite firm, but surprisingly very comfortable to sleep on. Best nights sleep we've had in a long time. In the bathroom, we had conditioning shampoo, cucumber make-up wipes, face and body soap bars, tissues and a hair dryer. There is a tub, and shower in the tub. We were able to park immediately outside our door, which was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Now for the not so great... The dining table has a broken leg, so we had to take care not to collapse it, and kept having to adjust it back into position. (Update! Fixed!) I was so excited about having a tub to soak in for once. However, I was very disappointed. The amount of hot water you get isn't much. Even my husband, who takes quick showers, complained about the amount of hot water he had, several hours before I took my bath. (Update! Fixed!) There is NO VENTILATION options. No exhaust to turn on in the bathroom, and neither of our two windows were able to be opened. The only way to get some fresh air in and stale air out, was to open the door to the world. (Update! Fixed!) The price was a bit more than we're used to paying, and there is no breakfast served, but all in all, it's a great place to stay. Update! The manager, Angela, is very nice, and when I told her of all these issues, she immediately got on each one and took care of it. She is amazing, and I truly felt like she cared and wanted to make her guests feel welcome, happy, and comfortable. Highly recommend Palmer House Inn...and Angela! In regards to pics, please ignore the mess. We just went shopping and had supper, and I hadn't cleaned up yet. The electric skillet is not allowed to be used in the room, but I brought it from our camper (we're full-time RVers) just to clean it.
