An engaging zoo on the smaller side. Easy to get through in a couple of hours. The park is clean and the staff friendly. The dinosaurs were a special treat!

Check out Dino Days at the Topeka Zoo!! It’s a fun packed adventure for the whole family or if you’re just a dinosaur enthusiast like me. There are life size replicas of popular species including therapods and titanosaurs. There are also a lot of fun things happening in the next few months. Don’t waste another minute!

The dinosaurs are out. Our children are grown and we go here whenever we are in town. It was fun even though it’s not very big. We got 50% off for having a KC regular zoo membership. Totally worth it!

Great experience at the Topeka Zoo, line was really long but they worked fast to get everyone through. Glad they had Dino Days on Spring break this week, kids really enjoyed the Dino Don animatronics! We also enjoyed the indoor rain forest was pretty neat with the waterfall. Good amount of Animals we’re not out and about. Giraffe are being updated is nice and Orangoutangs were definitely enjoyable and fun to watch. We rounded the Zoo 1.5 hours. Not a large Zoo like Kansas City. Tons of parking right out front. Goat food was out 1/2 through the day, not to many goats to feed and understandably they don’t like to over feed them. Looks like they are adding on to the Zoo seem to have a nice big area of ground under construction.😃

Questions & Answers

Do they have wheelchairs available?

Ellie Benedict | Aug 16, 2019
Jake L | Aug 17, 2019

Yes, they have wheel chairs. When you rent one of their wheelchairs, you'll also have to give them some collateral meaning your ID to hold onto till you bring it back. They do this because some people actually steal the wheelchairs.
