Really great relaxing spot to spend some time with family. Beautiful park and great activities, including horse-back riding on a long trail, pony rides for kids (<52"), playground, picnic tables, and more. We got the group horseback riding tickets ($35/person) and it was a super peaceful, beautiful hour long ride through the trails. The horses are very well trained throughout. The pony rides for kids are only $3/ride and you can guide the horse yourself! Great service and conversation with all the staff, everyone was super nice and patient.

Nice activity for kids to ride a pony. 1 lap costs 3 dollars, or if you take 3 laps, you get additional lap as a bonus. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Weather was quite hot, so be prepared for sweating. Feeding animals was closed as we arrived in the afternoon.

Nice little escape in the middle of the city. Tradewinds Park & Stables is a beautiful that has so much to do for all ages. it also house Butterfly World. You can spend the whole day there. I would definitely recommend. You can do horseback riding, Pony rides. see the horses. and every third Saturday and Sunday of the month, they have train ride for reasonable donation of $1.50.

First visit! We’ve spent a lot of time exploring South Florida over the past 25 years and it’s always fun to find a new place. They use the horses for therapy. It’s a beautiful park and a beautiful young lady who works with the Therapy program was amazing. Hoping when we move to Florida I’ll be able to volunteer my services there.

They have pony rides in a fenced in area. Tickets are purchased for rides that last a few minutes. They have ponies of different colors. There are height limits for children. My 9 year old daughter was too big for pony rides and had to ride a full sized trail horse. My 4 year old enjoyed the pony rides very much. The park staff are great and safety is their highest priority.
There are regular size, but they have a pavilion with some together

Call Tradewinds Park Stables for schedule and pricing.
Perhaps call park and ask which pavilion may be best.
