One of the best coin shops I have ever been in in New Jersey. Ed Correa is extremely knowledgeable about foreign coins and currency, he is also very friendly. I had a terrific experience here and will definitely be back.

Hi Candis, We are working on updating our emails and websites. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email. Please let me know if you still would like an appraisal free of charge. If you are interested you can either take pictures front and back of each coin it would be easier. If not, we can schedule an appointment to come in the shop. Let me know. I have an 1851 one dollar coin… Gold it is in a plastic container. It is identified as being considered capital FINE. How much is it worth?

It would have been nice to actually have a photo of the coins both sides. But the condition determines alot of it's value. If it has a mint mark or not. If it has any errors. But a no mint mark 1851 $1 dollar Indian Princess coin the value ranges from a very fine 20 to ms63. The Vf20 $240 ms63 $500. Today the market dictates the value of any or all currency, depending on demand, scarcity and rarity of the coin. The book values as pointed out are real. But the price may double if a collector wants it and needs it as an addition to the usa gold dollars. In my opinion seasoned collectors will not overpay for any coin. Mostly rookies make the mistakes of overpaying and realize that later as they continue to grow as collectors. TY

What reference guide/book should I buy that tells me what imperfections on any number of coins that I should look for. Thank you for your input
