Great place to see Lake Erie. Quiet, pleasant, and secluded. Enjoy a walk on the beach or boardwalk. Many places to sit and enjoy. Great views
Terri Baldwi,
We went here as a quick getaway. I used to vacation here as a child with my family. The layout has changed quite a lot but the beach is as I remember it. Had a relaxing day and cherished all the memories it brought back. Child friendly with a small playground and many shelters for picnics.

Very clean and well taken care of. Lots of places to sit down and eat or walk the beach. Super nice pavilion with garage doors on it so you can adjust how much wind you want to take. Great place to get out of the weather to eat if the weather turns bad but can be opened up if the weather is nice.

Amazing park, every August for a weekend, the nation's largest DDAY reenactment comes to town. Here are some pics from 2021, an amazing beach and the entire park is transformed into Allied and German occupied France. Battles during the day and a main battle to end the day. Thousands of troops every year. Outside of this amazing weekend, the park is really beautiful and I encourage you to check it out.

Hi, I know you asked a year ago, but figured I would answer any how. You can definitely bring your own picnic lunch and set up in the grass or sand, and under the pavilion too probably. I have never tried to reserve a pavilion, but I'm sure it's not complicated.
No, there are signs in the park that say no dogs allowed

It shouldn't be a problem. Contact Gary Coxon, or Vince Parlongo for approval.
Yup
There's a Days Inn about 10mins from the park.
I think so.
