We were seated quickly (party of 7) and had a great server. Scallops, oysters, and muscles were perfect and delicious. Kids meals were great as well! We love Deerfield and this spot is a great place for locals or tourists.

Good grub. The Whale Fries, which are more like chips, are the best, especially when combined with the whale sauce!! And the garlic rolls are 😍. I only wish they offered better salads. They're still fresh tho. And it's a little more expensive than I want it to be, but you're really paying for service, ambiance, and mostly the fact that you're eating good quality food by the beach. But still one of our favorite places. Took MIL here for some good FL seafood and she loved it. Yum yum.

Good food cool atmosphere. The oysters and king crab legs were good. The shrimp pasta was delicious too. Service was very good. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We visited this restaurant on Saturday with a party of six and we only waited a half hour for a table. All of the seafood was delicious.

There’s a reason this restaurant can pull a 30 minute wait time for dinner on a Tuesday - they have delicious food! Their signature Key West sandwich has tons of perfect flavors and textures, I got it blackened and it was delicious. Their house made chips with the Whale Juice are also delicious! Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Awesome seafood and service. Nice tables outside to enjoy the weather and view
They do not
Very dog friendly for outside seating. Only service dogs allowed inside.
Are small dogs allowed at Whale’s Rib in Deerfield Beach?
Dont know about the owner, also no free oysters. But definitely go and enjoy. (Oyster poboy)
Reservations are optional. I've gone in a number of times with a party of 8 to 10 and never had a problem.
If it's on the "catch of the day" menu. They get seafood in season.
This is to the best of my knowledge. Mayo, white vinegar, yellow mustard, black pepper, sugar and water. They make it in quantity so if you search hard enough, you can find the proper amount of each ingredient if you wanted to make it on your own.....maybe you can just ask them........😁
There were 6 of us and we hit it just right. I would suggest calling them ahead and it depends on the time of day.
