We stayed in the 3 bed holiday hideaway, which is huge and well appointed. Site is beautiful and very well kept in a great location. Some freight train noise from across the river early in the morning which disrupted sleep (not the sites fault, just worth noting)

The premises are clean and well kept. They even provide daily garbage pickup. Nice little cafe/ice cream shoppe/gift shoppe. Only thing missing is a game room for rainy days. Loved the option to rent kayaks and we were driven several miles upstream. We were able to jump on the Great Allegheny Passage for daily walks and bike rides. Even played cornhole and horseshoes with our friends, just some shade is needed there. The pool is a great amenity! Again, a few more shade umbrellas are needed for when it gets busy.

We were delayed due to traffic arriving so that was a little scary because we were unfamiliar with the area, the road leading to the KOA was steep and the signage could be better. But that is the only negative thing I have to say. While getting my check in info, a worker came up and offered to show us to our site even though the office was clearly closed. Upon waking in the morning, we checked out the property and it was immaculate!!! Literally, every small detail on organization and cleanliness throughout the park was PERFECT!!! The pools, dog park, kids equipment, etc I wish that I could stay longer and the river next to the property was very relaxing. I highly recommend staying here.

My favorite campground! The food is great, the employees are upbeat helpful folk and it's right on the GAP bike trail. But beware there is no Verizon reception without a signal booster. Update: we're back and They fixed the wifi!!! Now my boy can watch his favorite shows again. Love it here!

I see the Tipis are not rain proof, but are they "snake proof"? It looks like light comes in the bottom of them, so I wasnt sure how the bottom attaches to the ground. Thanks!

The place is pretty open and well occupied by ppl. I think snakes are pretty well away. It's more of a camping resort, not wilderness camping. I'd say you'd be just as snake safe as your own tent.

Take the exit for 119 South towards connellsville, approximately 15 miles until you reach route 201 you want to make a right and go north. Follow it for approximately a mile and a half make a right onto Adelaide road and just follow it back you'll see the signs. Very easy to get to
