Its a small campground. Its beautiful and peaceful. I camped for 2 weeks and did see many people. My only complaint is its located right next to a road, you do hear trucks driving by some with load brakes. It is a nice place.

Great small park. We enjoy coming here to just hangout by small mountain stream and going for hikes. Haven't camped here yet though.

A beautiful, small park nestled in the mountain's shadow. It's a rugged, lush area with some steep trails. There is a nice pond at the park's southern limits. Rauchtown Rd. or SR 880 is the only access to the park and it is a bit hard to find due to it's small size and limited signage. Once you find the park you can see that it's well maintained and clean. Great for a picnic or day trip for families. The park would be much cooler on a hot summer's day and a place that I would head for a lot if I lived in the area.

This park is beautiful,but hard to find. The state really needs to put up more signs. Anyway it was worth the drive.

No reservations, it is first come first served. There is a drop box to pay cash. It's about $30 per night.
Looks like a bobcat
No swimming at the dam, but you can wade in the creek upstream or downstream.
