LOL! This supposed to be a thrift shop not a retail store, They too overpriced for a thrift shop this place is a joke! Some elderly ladies that work at this location are rude! I won’t be coming back at this location preferably going to goodwill!

I’ve been supporting WID resale store for several years by donating used items such as clothes, household items, books etc. I’ve also purchased a number of things in store altho I think some are overpriced. I always bring my donations at around 10:00 to back door and never had a problem. This week I again brought a lot of donations and when the door opened the male employee said we don’t take donations till 10:30. This was a surprise to me as no one else ever informed me. He then said” it’s always been the policy “ and pointed to new sign on door. We went back and forth and finally I apologized and said that I won’t bring donations again ever! Please WID please have the courtesy to post donation times on your website. Not fair to us to be chewed out when we keep you in business with our donations. Also please suggest to employees that it’s not good to preface donees with reprimands before even saying hello and thank you

This thrift store is absolutely wonderful. The women here are so welcoming and they know how to separate quality from quantity. I have found beautiful shoes and unique outfits for my instagram (please check me out @ anniemariaboutique). They help me get inspired to create eye-catching outfits. They also have days where they offer 1/2 off for shoes!! I got brand new condition Nina black pumps for only $10!! Other thrift stores tend to overprice items but this store is reasonable!

Yes women in distress appreciates all donations that are in good shape. Not only do they sell clothing but they also have women who need clothes so they can rejoin the workforce
When are the best days to drop off donations?
As Trina said, Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday you can drop off a donation. The store manager, Eileen, and her staff are very professional in accepting donations.
I don't have an answer to that question but I believe not but I will ask the store manager on Tuesday when I go there so if you write me back on Tuesday I'll have an answer to the question but on Wednesday There's 50% off of senior citizens accept Furniture only on Wednesdays everything is 50% off for senior citizens or regular people I believe but the bottom line is I don't believe that poor people can get things for free there but I'll find out I'm going to ask her you could write me back by Tuesday or Wednesday and I'll have an answer thank you

Yes donations are always welcome! If the item doesn't match their criteria; they donate them for free to women have nothing!
