A gem in the heart of Northwest Pennsylvania, the OC&T offers a trip like no other. Climb aboard at Perry Street Station and hear the story of how oil was found in the valley and how it changed the world forever. Before the train departs you can check out the station, there is lots of history to be found along with some great souviners and items made by local artists, then head to the snack counter for a hot dog and some fresh popped pop corn. Once the train leaves Drakes Well station just about 10 minutes south of Titusville you can head out to the open air car, which is the best place to view all that the Oil Creek Valley has to offer. The OC&T is the only railroad in the USA to have an operating Railway Post Office car, they cancel your mail right on board! Bring your bike, you can ride the Oil Creek bike trail and then hop the train at Petroleum Centre and head back north. It an amazing experience the whole family will remember!

Are pets permitted?

Mary Lou Cowher | Aug 15, 2018
Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad (Owner) | Aug 16, 2018

We do allow dogs on the train for a $5.00 fee. An 'On-Train Pet Policy' waiver must be signed, and someone must stay with the dog at your seat; you cannot walk about the train with your dog. Pets are not permitted for any of our Special Events or in October due to space limitations. Service animals are not considered pets and are permitted in all areas where customers are allowed without a fee. Service animals are animals trained to perform a specific task for the benefit of a person with a disability.

Not every day. You would have to check their train schedule.

Does the train go thru Pithole???

Dolly Vitka | Jan 16, 2021
Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad (Owner) | Jan 17, 2021

No, our train rides do not go through Pithole. We run through Oil Creek State Park only. Pithole is about 7 miles or so to the east of the park. Also, in response to Tom, we did not run in 2020, but we are hopeful to be able to run in 2021. Our schedule has not yet been finalized, but will be announced on our website and social media once it has been approved. Thank you.
