I worked here for about a year and a half, far longer than anyone considering the turn over rate. This facility especially dinning management exploits it’s workers and does not pay out paid time off that has been approved. Stephanie the dinning manager, does not keep her kitchen clean and exploits all dinning staff while sitting in her broom closet. The walk in freezer/fridge is covered in mold and rotten food. The food served is all frozen, moldy, and not fresh considering the high rate residents pay to live in this facility. There is mold in the dishwasher/dishwasher sink, and most doing dishes are not properly trained how to properly clean the dishes and silverware.Most staff is there to just get a check and not for the benefit of the residents. There is constant drama between CNA’s and other workers. The residents deserve more. This company will do anything to get a quick buck, by increasing rent and not informing the residents causes them to move out, not paying their employees a living wage, and finally not paying out PTO. Do not send your loved ones to this facility as it is not worth the abuse and money, for thawed moldy food, and unclean dinning wear. Not a good place to work either!

I'm updating this review from several months ago. My mother was at Heritage Pointe from May through November when she passed away. She was there 6 months almost to the day. I am so impressed with the care and the facility. This has been a terrible time with COVID and they have done EXCEPTIONAL in the way they have protected our loved ones. My mom commented many times on the measures they were taking and how safe she felt. The communication from the administration was also frequent and complete. I can not say enough good things about Heritage Pointe. They made a very difficult 6 months as good as it could be. As I was gathering her belongings and found multiple things the staff had given her to celebrate times us as family couldn't due to COVID. I am forever grateful for this amazing facility. We needed to find a place for mom after acute and skilled rehab. From the minute we stepped into Heritage Pointe, we had a sense of caring and peace. We made the choice for her to come here and couldn’t be happier. Sadly this all happened during COVID, so we couldn’t even help get her settled. Tracy and the team assured us she would be treated like their own mom and would help her. They did then and continue to do so now. We couldn’t be happier than we are with every single person at Heritage Pointe. The hardest thing we’ve ever had to do is leave the most important person to us in someone else’s hands and not be able to see her. But over and over they have proven mom is in the best place with the best care. Thank you EVERYONE at Heritage Pointe for all you do.

We were looking for a place for my mom for a little extra help after rehab and a hospitalization before returning home. Teresa with carematrix.net helped us find Respite Assisted Living. She and they were a God send. When we toured Heritage Pointe and met with Tracy it felt like a good fit. We had it set up before my mom left the hospital for rehab. Tracy has always been very pleasant, helpful and quick to respond. They have been stellar in taking care of my mom, especially during the pandemic. She didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy all they had during her 3 month stay because of the appropriate precautions that were being taken, but she would have. She did enjoy the hallway hymn sings. We’re glad they were so careful in protecting all their residents! She improved and gained strength while there and has enjoyed her stay. My siblings and I can't thank them enough for the excellent care that has been provided during this scary time for everyone. I would highly recommend this facility and their wonderful team! Thank you!
