Theresa is a fantastic historian with a great wealth of knowledge and a great personality. I highly recommend any tour here given by her.
Paul Owens
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Original furniture is still in the house.

Great place to visit and learn some local History. I highly suggest that people bring their families and enjoy the tour.

History is so vital to life. The staff love this house and those who lived in it. It makes the tour more interesting. There's a 13 minute video before the tour starts and it's about 1.5 hours total on site. $5 is not too bad for this tour.

Hi Amanda. Yes, we are open on Veterans Day. We are open on most holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
James Kenan, a Revolutionary General that the town of Kenansville is named after. His brother Michael Kenan that also fought in the Revolutionary War. Owen Kenan, grandson of General Kenan and his wife Sarah. They were the first Kenans to raise a family at Liberty Hall. Annie Kenan, daughter of Owen and Sarah. Fannie Kenan, infant granddaughter of Owen and Sarah.
Adult admission is $5, cash only. Children are less, but I don’t remember if it’s $2 or $2.50.
