This is one of the best stores in the L.A. area and worth the drive. They are pricier than other stores on many items, but they have a great selection and a lot of gems you don’t see everyday. I have found they pay about 40% of market value when selling to them, and that is reasonable or better compared to some stores I have dealt with in the past. My only real complaint about this store is that they keep a large portion of their vinyl inventory in bins underneath the main inventory. In order to access it, you can use a small stool they provide or get on your knees and get under the racks. However, when you are older and/or heavier, this is not an easy task, and I have never felt comfortable looking through records with hundreds of pounds of other records directly above my head. Plus my back and neck hurt by the time I leave from trying to go through records at a 45 degree angle with outstretched arms. A large percentage of their floor space is dedicated to CDs. This makes sense, but those are much smaller with multiple display options. They could easily be reconfigured so that all of the vinyl on the floor could be brought up to standing level. They would probably sell more vinyl this way and it would be much more customer friendly.

I used to love this place whenever I went to cicis next door I would go in and buy stuff while waiting for my table. My friends even knew that I liked this place since I introduced a lot of them to it. This was all gone when one of my friends bought me 3 records for my birthday all $40 and up with one of them being $60 plus tax. However one of these records I already owned so I went to the store and they told me if I didn’t have the receipt then I should sell it to them. Why would I need to sell them their own record when it’s still sealed with their own pricing on them. I said okay if that’s the only option thinking they will mark the record down $5-10 (which is still a lot comparing to $50) and man was I wrong the dude looked at it like he’s in pawn stars or something and was like “I’ll give u 10 for it” afterwards he said that sentence like 5 times and after each word I said and I had only said “but it’s a $50 vinyl record” for that small sentence I heard “I’ll give u 10 for it” 5 times with the worst attitude possible to man kind. So I kindly took my (sealed, brand new, with store price tag) record and left the store and here I am warning everyone. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT BUY GIFTS TO YOUR LOVED ONES FROM THERE or anything for that matter. That store is not special at all. All their inventory is everywhere and in fact all there prices are marked up $10+ from all the major stores even TARGET!!!!! Never coming back here again.

As an avid Beatles collector, I really enjoy this shop. I've found some excellent analog pressings here, some of the best sounding Beatles vinyl I've ever heard. Lucky to have such a great store nearby! And now if you show your vaccination card you can show your face! It's great to finally see some smiles!

Expansive collection of everything! A great place to dig. Good deals on movies and used CDs of all kinds. Their vinyl selection is pretty good, but I would say a bit overpriced. Enough so that I've refrained from buying. Otherwise, great shop with enough merch to spend a whole afternoon digging.

Thanks for your concern! Masks and distancing are required, and we wipe down surfaces often.
We might. We have at least 100 cds in the latin section. Stop in and take a look!
Celia cruz probably.call them.
They have whole dedicated sections for foreign music and can often order things for you. I'd call in and ask for anything specific though
We have all the seasons of The Wire individually and as a box set. And yes, calling us is a much quicker way to communicate. thanks!
Yes .CD trader does buy vinyl ...DVD s CD s also
Yes
I have no idea. That was my first time going there. There were two guys working in the back sorting out trade-ins and two women at the counter. Great customer service..
CD Trader I reccommend for Any Collector great staff low prices on New and Used usually (Mint to VG) and DVDs
Sure, we carry new and used vinyl.
There should not be a limit, however, they will look at everything you bring in and if they have several copies of a CD you bring in they may not take it
CD Trader does buy vinyl record albums. It may be worth your while to call them first to find out if they have any interest in the specific albums you are trying to sell, it's also helpful if you can grade the condition of the albums to let them know over the phone, as all the vinyl I have purchased there has been at least in 'very good' condition but more frequently in the 'near mint' to 'mint' condition range.
If it's CDS/DVDS/Blurays bring them in anytime and we'll look at them immediately unless someone gets there before you. Same thing for vinyl typically except this wednesday (4/24) there will not be a vinyl buyer in.
We sell soul, r&b and hip hop from all decades on CD and Vinyl. We only have singles in the vinyl though. Come on in!!!
We only buy them when they have the full original packaging. Thanks!
No, sorry we do NOT buy VHS tapes. We DO buy CDs, DVDs, VINYL and Blurays and Books!
The largest in the valley and one of the largest in Los Angeles!
