I'd always been curious about LASIK. My family and friends had long suggested it to me as an option to no longer need glasses. But I had lots of fears! I tried unsuccessfully to wear contacts mostly because I can't stand putting things in or on my eyes. How could I let someone use a laser on my eyes!? I also had great vision with my glasses, 20/15 to be exact. Dr. Ambati had a terrific resume and his calm demeanor immediately put me at ease. He talked me through all the steps he would take and the surgery went perfect! I'm now fully healed and enjoying my life free from the shackles glasses represented. I no longer have to carry around my case with my prescription glasses or worry that my kids want to wear my expensive prescription sunglasses. I even still have my perfect 20/15 vision! Dr. Ambati definitely lives up his reputation. Best experience I have ever had. Dr. Ambati is patient and kind to help understand the whole Lasik process. His knowledge is it a whole different level. I would refer anyone to him.

Dr. Ambati and his staff are very knowledgable, professional and thorough. From my initial evaluation with the staff and evaluation by Dr. Ambati, I felt my best interests based on my visual needs were addressed. Dr. Ambati gave me options for the intraocular lens implants. The surgeries were a breeze. No pain. Vision without glasses or other corrective lenses improved dramatically. I am still in the early phase post-surgery. Dr. Ambati has take great pride in his work and has shown a sincere interest in my progress. I know that I can contact him at any time and feel that he will address my needs, whether it be my phone, email or intra-office visit to assure all is well. I am very pleased thus far with the care I have received from Dr. Ambati and his staff.

We would need to determine if you are indeed a candidate for LASIK and that it is the best option for you, as it might not be, and there are a few factors specific to an individual that determine what the cost will be. What we can say is that if you are a candidate we will ensure you are offered the very best pricing possible. We work with every LASIK patient to ensure they are aware with the cost and even provide financial counseling to make sure each LASIK patient knows exactly what they are paying for and the exact cost, once we know their individual circumstance. We encourage you to call our office and speak with our LASIK coordinator to go over all of your available options and make sure LASIK is indeed the correct choice for you.
