I’m so mad I didn’t find this place sooner! This is my first time having soul food and literally everything tasted SO DELICIOUS, was very fresh, and hot. Definitely my new go to spot.

The service & food was great. The food itself was good , fresh and hot. We sat in to eat and the wait was definitely short. Staff was really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend coming here to eat. I haven’t had lunch or dinner from here but I would bet on it being great. The pricing is also good here too.

If you looking for some finger licking, soul food like your grandma/auntie (on your daddy side) make… THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Hands down!!I had the smoothered rib tips, yellow rice, candied yams, and Mac and cheese! Wifey had smoothered Turkey necks, white rice, candied yams, and Mac and cheese! Plus all dinners come with corn muffin and the SWEET TEA!!! Better than McD’s and Popeyes!!I will definitely make this my stop everytime I come to Orlando!! Thanks Nikki keep up the delicious cooking and Mike was a great server!!

First time here round the second week of January 2022. Wife and I wanted to downtown soul food. The place is small but very clean. There was a lot of foot traffic in and out the day we went. That’s always a positive sign. Anyhow, I had meatloaf, yellow rice, tomatoes and okra. The star of my plate was the yellow rice. The meatloaf looked funny (color was not what I’m used too), but was seasoned and tasty. The stewed tomatoes and okra was good as well. Not quite as tasty as I liked but good. My wife had the fried chicken and she was disappointed because of the time it took to get and it appeared to be be re-heated. Make no mistake! The presentations and service was spot on. I topped it off with a piece of sweet potato pie. Again, it was tasty, but a bit too stringy. I good pies and this can be suggestive, but this is my opinion. Overall, we will be back and likely try something different as I see the potential for a once a month rotation. Located in historic Paramore. Stop in and give them a try.
