Hours of operation: "The Medford Railroad Park is now open for the 2022 Season. We are open the second and fourth Sunday of each month till October. Our hours are 11am to 3pm." My review: This place is amazing! The fact that there's no entrance fee and everything is donation based with volunteers is a rare gem for families. We'll definitely come back!

The railroad park has been a part of my family for year's, and after the COVID closure and scare that it could be closed for good, it was such an amazing thing to see what our community can do together to keep places like this that run on donations open! Very VERY busy parking situation but lines for the train rides, food, and activities in general were not a long wait whatsoever.

Took the FAM here. The volunteers are all amazing and friendly. They did a great job. Fun at any age. I encourage everyone to see it at least once. Everything from the food to the souvenirs is reasonably priced. All the money goes back to the park.

This is such a fun and creative place! My 3 y/o loved it! Between the train rides, being able to ring a bell, hand on activities, watching miniature trains, learning about different trains. And all this is by donation only!!! They have a restrooms and some food for sale. There is not much shade there so make sure you go prepared. We spent 3hrs there and still didn't see everything. They are open every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 11-3.

Yes. We went there yesterday and had a great time.
Medford Parks & Rec might know. You could also contact the Southern Oregon Railway Historical Society webpage and check with one of their contacts.
No but well worth the donation! It's run by volunteers and a wonderful train park.
They are taking children in to there day today dont want the kids to get sick but when the sun is out and it is safe they will roll with the children safty first.
The nearest passenger train stop to Medford is in Klamath Falls
There are 4 different groups and each one offers different food and beverage offerings. I dig the ice cones. Also make sure you bring cash! Some of them except card but cash is king at the park
