A rustic experience that will keep the family entertained. A nice exhibit/dining area leads the way to the different enclosures this zoo offers, dirt & gravel paths will take you all around the place. There's also lots of benches & picnic areas around the zoo plus a small playground for the kids. I liked the open feel of this zoo, would love to see more interactive stations or 'did you know?' boards, also more signage for paths and enclosures (they do provide you with a map).

The zoo is wonderful for kids. You can feed the animals corn and animal crackers. You can't get this level of interactive zoo experience at other zoos. The zoo does kind of feel like tiger king, the animal habitats could be better and you will feel bad for some of the animals. I also feel like the space family has probably helped with the extinction of several species, due to their prolific hunting and trophy collecting. I like to think of it as the best worst zoo.

We enjoy visiting Space Farms once a year. It's a nice place to walk and see many animals in open spaces, although some seem like they could use more room to roam. It's great place for kids to be able to feed the animals.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place, it's in a pretty rural location so we weren't sure what to expect. We're locals and it's taken us 5 years to finally come here, and my husband absolutely loved it. There were a few exotic animals (like a tiger and baboons). There wasn't a ton of each animal, but there seemed to be a decent selection (see map in photo). What it may have lacked in animals, it certainly makes up for in antiques. The sheer volume of stuff to look at was very impressive. We were there for 3 hours with toddlers and didn't get to see everything. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. They sell corn (for cheap) that you can feed to the animals, and we were throwing it into just about every cage and no one minded. My kids also got to help bottle feed a few of the animals. The gift shop had a lot of cute stuff, but it's your typical gift shop prices ($15 for a mug and about $24 for a kids shirt at the time of this review). They did have a bunch of smaller items for under $10 as well. So overall, I recommend this place for a nice family trip.

They definitely take credit cards and cash, and you'll want to be sure to get lots of corn. We usually get 4-5 bags, as t deer alone can take two bags once you start letting the little ones feed 'em!
Ive been here in the past and never noticed scooters but there are a lot of paved paths however many are stone so that could pose a bit of a challenge.
They are open from 9 to 5. Monday-Sunday
