My husband and I enjoy every so often eating at the restaurant and usually out of preference just because it is Who We Are, we eat in the bar. We had not eaten there for almost 2 years at having husband's mother live with us during that time who had wheelchair, cognitive and aging restrictions and challenges, so we were very tied to the home. She passed in April this year so we promptly started happily returning to the restaurant eating in the bar. We were talking about it just this morning mentioning at least four different staff in the bar who served our meals were very comfortable and nice people that we enjoyed. I wanted to do a shout out to them and say thank you.👍❤

It was our first trip in and yet it felt like we'd been there dozens of times. Every person on staff that passed by was busy, with big smiles. It was a nice atmosphere and the menu was huge. There's something for everyone... The chicken fried steak I ordered was bigger than my foot and it tasted amazing. We all ate until we were full and left with to-go containers. It only took one visit to know we're officially regulars.

I didn't exactly have the best first impression for my first time here. The staff were friendly and quick to service, but honestly that's their only saving grace. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed that two gentlemen seated near us were getting their food before us. As soon as I heard one of them say "That's not ours," I realized she was serving them our food! I waved her over. She apologized, but that's why communication is needed amongst your staff. I was hoping that the food was gonna be good after their slip up and much to my disappointment, it wasn't. I've had better biscuits and gravy at a gas station. A slice of white bread has more flavor. In other words, I won't be coming here again.

We have tried several times this year and that's why it gets a 2 star rating. Service is good, when you get it and if it comes around. Bar drinks are bland (bloody mary needs help). Cocoa is good. Omelet is good and the only thing I can say. The biscuits and gravy....your mom's gease can on the stove will taste better!!! The salted caramel French toast was good (so the teen said). Overall...this place has a gaggle of regulars and that's all they are going to keep. We won't be going back anymore and I recommend you find someplace else to better spend your hard earned money.

They will only be doing a free Thanksgiving dinner to anyone who shows up between 11am-1pm. They will be closed the rest of the day

Industry standard is canola. That is what you will find most. People don't want to mess with allergies and canola is also the most affordable so it's a win win. This is coming from a former kitchen manager now disabled.
You have to ask mellissa she's larrys boss and she schedules you in when your in your car will be on a calendar month you get a calendar and a t shirt but theres already a two year waiting list shes wanting to open a 2nd restaurant and do the same thing
