Good location, close to downtown Waxhaw. It looks okay from the outside. My apartment was so dark, with absolutely NO natural light towards the back bathroom and bedroom area. It might have been a good idea to throw a few ceiling lights up when the apartments were built. (or skylights) Instead, you have to plug in a couple of floor lamps. I literally felt like I was living in prison for a year and contemplated moving my bed to the living room area, where the only windows and natural light were. The metal roof makes the rain sound like its in surround sound, which I didn't mind. The apartments are just mere feet from the railroad tracks and the loud sounding train horn. I met some wonderful neighbors and new friends there. Unfortunately, the office was ran unprofessional and rude.

Overall, a great place with some of the finest people I have known. I can only assume the aforementioned viscous dogs are referring to those with a thick and sticky consistency. Like fine motor oil perhaps. Not-too-thin, loyal, friendly...:)
