I would say this is the best burrito place I have ever had in my life. It’s very small and humble location. I always compare other places with this burrito. The secret hot sauce is something which you should go for. I strongly encourage you to have their hot sauce. I feel it’s the most authentic place in the Oakland or maybe the entire Bay Area. I believe that’s the recipe of that old lady. Hope they pass on the legacy to someone. I don’t know why but I have some strange emotional attachment to this place.

I love this restaurant! Happy Burrito literally makes me happy!!! I usually order the beef burrito and chicken tacos. The service is good and I do miss eating inside but overall the food is excellent. I also wanted to mention how good the hot sauce is here. Thats some good hot sauce!!! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants

A down-to-earth Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and good food. The burritos are small and cheap, yet satisfying. Their hot sauce is out-of-this-world delicious. My only criticism is their limited selection of food. If they added more options, this place would be perfect.
