State Farm has kept high premiums while customer service has decreased. It's very difficult to change agents within State Farm and make policy adjustments. They now take like a month and much follow up to make policy changes (you must call several times to get policy certificates) and there are surprise nickel and dime fees to do so where you have to spend more time to pay the fees and get explanations of why you are being billed. State Farm consistently overestimates replacement cost to raise fees and you have to debate with them to use actual contractor estimates. Never met their agents and I have no idea what they do. Assistants run the shop. There are plenty of competitors with good AM ratings and I suggest you check those out instead.

The people that work for Ken in this State Farm Office are really wonderful. I was contacted by email about an increase in my deductible which had resulted in lower pricing. The catch is, I may never be able to go back to what we had before. What a nice service to alert the customer about this and the possible consequences. I have driven to their office three times to discuss possible policy changes simply because they are great in person, knowledgeable and articulate. No salesmanship, just great service.
