My computer went down for the count and I was frantic to get it fixed. Called Cantrells and their technician Nathan took my call and came to my house within the appointment time frame. He took the computer back to the shop for diagnostic testing which indicated a blown motherboard and other issues. Ultimately I had to purchase a new computer that DAY and had to have all files transferred from old hard drive. Nathan completed the task of cloning the drive and returning the new computer in less than 5 hour period! Outstanding service and unbelievably quick turnaround time! Thank goodness for people like Nathan who know their trade and provide PROMPT and RELIABLE SERVICE.

Wade Cantrell, owner of Cantrell’s Computer Sales & Services, is a great person and wonderful business owner. As such he hires excellent people. The microphone on my computer has never worked. As video meetings become the norm, my work-around doesn’t always work and I really need a functional mic. Wade set up a virtual support appointment with one of his techs. The tech was prompt, helpful, polite, and unsuccessful. I needed to take the machine in. We easily made an appointment, that I had to reschedule, and I continued without a microphone for a couple more days. While I had a half-hour appointment slot, I assumed that I would drop off my computer and hope to hear from the tech before the day was out. I was greeted by a different tech – also friendly – who started the thing up and in about 10 minutes got the mic working. Turns out we needed a little trial and error along with a hands-on approach. By the time my half-hour appointment time was done, my computer was fixed, I’d gone to the gas station around the corner to fill my tank and tires, and was on my way home! Spoke with Wade, the owner, today on the phone re: my laptop suddenly not turning on. He was more than happy to walk me through a troubleshooting procedure that worked. I offered to pay for the help but he declined to accept, and even offered some additional advice such as backing up all files and docs through cloud storage or storage device. This is great customer service and professionalism that all businesses should emulate.

Very positive experience here, my Dell laptop wouldn't start up...called Cantrell's, brought it in, they explained everything clearly to me, they fixed it, put in a new hard drive, and saved all my data ...whew. Excellent communication and customer service, they called and kept me updated on the repair progress, and when I brought it home I had to call them at least five times because I couldn't figure out simple things, lol. They were polite and professional and extremely helpful, and now I have my computer back. Highly recommended, support our local businesses!! Thank you Cantrell's!!

what is the charge to install windows 10?

We charge $199 to upgrade from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro, plus cost of hardware upgrades (if any). We do this work in our shop and will move all data and applications, if possible.

How much for a hard drive repair?

Depends on what type. If you want to harvest data it's 199 which includes moving windows licenses and microsoft office licenses.
