It's a very short but up hill hike to a very cool waterfall that is just a fun thing to see. We really enjoyed it.

The grotto had always been a favorite of ours! It’s definitely more of a nature walk than a hike, but who says that’s a bad thing? Beautiful falls, beautiful area. Easy for all ages, grandparents and toddlers. My only concern would be that there are logs used as bridges to cross the stream and you’d want to keep a close watch on those young ones. Highly highly recommend this nature walk!

Early morning on a weekend in June was great with kids since we had the place to ourselves! There were too many people during COVID-19 on an afternoon when the cool waterfall would be refreshing, so we chose to come back later. None of the Littles needed carrying, they loved the adventure and even tried out the freezing waterfall—and no complaints from anyone on the way back either, so perfect length and level for families! Must visit to see its beauty especially in morning light!

Great little hike! Going early in the morning helps avoid the crowds, as this trail is very popular. About 1km round trip, and only a little bit of challenge, so great for little kids or moms and dads that don't want to worry about commiting to more than they can. Well shaded too, so you don't have to worry about the heat or sun.
