COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing at Walgreens

Scheduled an appointment for the Rapid COVID test 3 days in advance and drove all the way from Virginia Beach for an appointment only to have it cancelled while we are on the road to our appointment and figure out that no testing was available that day due to lack of supply. (Not sure how you run out of supply when everyone is required to have an appointment. IF YOU DONT HAVE TESTS DONT ALLOW PEOPLE TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS. I understand that this is just some third party contractor for Walgreens, who is inevitably trying their best, but evidently there is no accountability for them, so keep that in mind when you book. I know if this happened at my job, we’d lose our contract that day— no questions asked. Feel free to make an appointment, just know that it means nothing to them and that you’ll have to schedule a new one (and they’ll all be booked for the next 3 days).
