This has been my favorite place to get piercings done! We went to one place when I first moved to Sioux falls but this place is far better. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. Dan is amazing! We'll probably be back in a few weeks

I've been going to The Electric Crayon since I got my first tattoo at 18. I have gotten 4 pieces total from the artist Tyler and it's always been a great experience. What I wanted to say here today, I got my septum done last night. It was not my first piercing, or even my first nose piercing so I had an idea of what I expected. I went in, picked out my jewelry and went back for the piercing. There was a little set back from when I had attempted to pierce my septum myself when I was 16 (because 16 year olds make amazing choices) but the piercer, Dan, did an amazing job taking his time to make the process as smooth as possible. Once he did the piercing, it was pretty much painless, albeit a little uncomfortable (as it is when shoving a needle through flesh). I had been warned that it's an intense piercing. After the piercing was completed and I was ready to be on my merry way, I got woozy and lightheaded. Dan was paying attention and asked if I was okay. I said I wanted to lay down for a minute and he was happy to oblige. While I was recovering, we chit-chatted and he did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and okay. I did not feel rushed, even though they were rather busy as Saturday evenings in Sioux Falls tend to be. I was given a bottle of water and he did a phenomenal job of watching out for my wellbeing and explaining that this tends to happen with the septum piercing. It was an overwhelmingly positive expirence, as I have come to expect from this shop. They always not only meet my expectations, but exceed them. This is a shop you feel comfortable and safe in. Theyre very welcoming and friendly people, even when they're busy. I've always been a fan and I will continue using this shop for my future tattoo and piercings needs. 10/10 will and do recommend to my friends and strangers 🤘🏻

I got my septum piercing a few days ago and it was the best experience a first timer could ask for. They made me feel really comfortable and welcomed. It was great!

Dan is such a great guy! Went in yesterday for a nose piercing and he was super quick and easy with it. Didn’t even feel the needle go through. Explained after care cleaning very well. I will definitely be going back for any future piercings!
