Great outdoor range well maintained they put up new backstops often 25 50 and 100 yard lanes just all around a great place for a range day

All around it's a good "PUBLIC" range. It's well kept and not terribly littered with trash. Definitely keep in mind that anybody can be standing on line with you. Not everyone has firearm training and safety can be a problem. Don't hesitate to say something to a safety violator if you see something wrong. The benches and the cover over them are great especially on hot sunny days.

Very nice improvements done recently. Now equipped with a 25yd pistol range along with a 50yd and 100yd. The new canopy awning offers great protection from the sun, rain, etc.

Andy Shean is correct. I've had parties of 6 people there and 3 of us had to get gun range permits for the 6 of us.
You can sight in your rifle there at the range make sure you bring your hunting license
Yes, but only certain types such as bow, black powder, and shotgun, and only certain times of the year for certain types of game. You would have to visit the State Game Land 43 website for details specifics.
