Wasn’t entirely Impressed with the vet who tended to my young cat. . . He burst into the room, startling my already nervous feline. Then, after she retreated from his loud voice into her carry cage, he attempted to dump her out of the cage, simply by angling the door side downward toward the table as if to pour her out. Her ability to hold on to the very back of the cage and not come out was impressive. I intervened. Anyway, he was not in tune with cats - must be a dog Vet. Very hard to understand and communicate with. Had several questions I wanted to ask regarding my cat that I simply didn’t ask, because I couldn’t understand him talking under his face mask for one thing, and the other reason being I didn’t get the impression he had the answers.

Our puppy had an emergency and this was the only place available at the time, the only good thing was that visit went fast. It was pretty expensive, they charged us 3 different times almost 100$ just for an exam where they just took her weight. They recommend pills and some blood work, they said the blood work would arrive within 3 days. 2 weeks later after calling a few times about it they just told us she was fine. Felt taken advantage of cause of our emergency.

This place dr's aren't compassionate and caring to animals ! They are unethical and either don't know much about treating dogs or want to just make money off of patients . This place charged us $1800 for medication , x rays , blood test . Our french bulldog was in pain and dr karan diagnosed him with hip and back pain ! He told me my frenchy can go on long time medication for pain treatment .I called to ask for result ; his receptionist told us he won't be back in the office for few days to talk to us regarding blood test . I decided to took my frenchy to a ER Vet in San Ramon since he was still in pain . The Vet hospital dr in san ramon diagnosed him with bladder infections and gave him antibiotic & just one pain antiinflammation medication . Dr karan gave our frenchy 5 diffrent unnecessary medication that wasn't good for his bladder infection . They are working as a health care professional for money with out value , compassion , caring for our animals .

I really don't know where to begin. The only reason I gicw a one is because they're open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and for normal kind of mundane animal maintenance checkups and shots they're fine. To make a long story short I had a very sick cat took him in and they were supposed to run tests they charged me for the checkup and the tests. They never ran the tests and then they kept me hanging for 3 days telling me that the lab hadn't returned it but the fact was they never did send in the sample. I called five times to get results and the doctors never returned any calls they only told their techs that the lab must be busy and they would relay that information to me or lack thereof.. In order to get my money back I had to go back five times because every time I went the doctor wasn't there and the doctor has to oversee all refunds. after going to a much more thorough and non-negligent vet tests were done quickly and the cat is luckily on the road to recovery. Seriously reconsider using this vet it's very frustrating.
