Bartenders were very friendly. J Antonio is so cool. They wont force you to go to the stage to sing and drinks are very affordable. Crowd is calm and appreciative of singers. Restroom is clean.

Had so much fun here on a Saturday night! The energy was great! Stepped out of my comfort zone and got to do karaoke 🎤 on stage! The bar also has retro video games. It was a lot of fun!

Lizard Lounge Friday night karaoke is iconic. Really cool people, never had a bad experience and the music selection is huge - classics, modern jams, and everything in between. The owner has always been there when I've gone and is incredibly friendly. Great for karaoke newbies and professionals alike. Can't wait to go back.

This is the first bad review I’ve ever given in my life. I had a good time at this bar with my friends! Reason I am giving one star is because our bad experience with the bartender/guy who controlled karaoke outweighed any good experience we had here. He cut my boyfriend off mid-song, and berated his performance in front of a bar full of people. When I approached him about it, his reasoning was because he “knocked over his light” on stage. He was dancing, singing having fun and entertaining the crowd and didn’t realize he made an honest mistake. We spent a lot of money this night on drinks and waited a very long time to go on stage to sing just to be treated like this. I understand you have valuable equipment on stage but this is a karaoke bar, that’s really how you handle someone making a mistake? By publicly embarrassing someone? You should be ashamed of yourself. People, if you want to have a good time signing karaoke do NOT go to this bar.

The DJ is in a step-up sound booth where all of the acoustics are controlled. Several times, when I sang recently, there were several ladies dancing in front of me as I belted out some Neil Diamond and Billy Joel classics. Karaoke is every day of the week according to the manager during our last phone call in February '19.

Yes. Use Google to find clubs on the East End which some say is between Riverhead and the two Points. You need to do your own searching to find what you may like. Then read their Google Reviews. I see there aren't too many left compared to the 70's. Look up the Boardy Barn. I partied there in 1977 and it is still operating. Amazing. Come to Lizard Lounge to sing though (or listen!). At least here people can hold a conversation, hear your voice, and not go deaf from amplifiers.
